The Assembly votes in favor of sending the KSF contingent to the Falkland Islands

With 77 votes in favor, the Assembly of Kosovo has decided to send the contingent of the Kosovo Security Force abroad, namely sending to the operation in support of peace, according to the implementation agreement, regarding the sending of the Personnel of the Kosovo Security Force to the Roulement Company of Infantry in the Falkland Islands.

This proposal-decision was taken on November 29, 2022 by the Government of Kosovo, while it was discussed today in an extraordinary session called by 41 MPs of the Assembly of Kosovo.

The prime minister, Albin Kurti, said that 7 members of the KSF can be sent to this mission and that the mission can last up to 3 years, but with the possibility of extension.
