Kosovo started late the process of immunization against coronavirus, however from the Ministry of Health pledge that they will act in a timely manner to apply the booster dose. Health experts also agree that currently is not the time to start the administration of the third dose of vaccine in Kosovo as they consider that to receive the booster dose, at least 6 months must pass from receiving the second dose of anti-COVID vaccine.

The National Institute of Public Health has already recommended to the state authorities to give the third dose to certain groups. Whereas, next year is considered as optimal time by the Ministry of Health for the distribution of these doses...
