The deadline for the public call for financial support for MSMEs within the clean energy grant scheme, announced on October 10, 2025, will remain open until January 31, 2026, announces the Kosovo Investment and Enterprise Support Agency (KIESA), reports KosovaPress.

The support will be up to 25,000 euros per business, while the project is funded by the Government of Luxembourg and implemented by KIESA/MINT, in partnership with the Ministry of Economy and LuxDev, the Luxembourg Agency for Development Cooperation.

Eligible to apply are micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as well as large enterprises that do not benefit from regulated electricity tariffs and those whose primary or secondary activity is production or processing.

This scheme supports manufacturing and processing businesses that want to invest in green technologies, increase energy efficiency, and contribute to the transition toward clean energy.

The Clean Energy Grant Scheme is implemented through three separate public calls, which include three measures: support for solar energy systems and battery systems for storing electrical energy; support for energy efficiency measures in business facilities; and support for equipment that reduces energy consumption on production lines.

Within this scheme, businesses will be supported in solar systems for electricity generation, solar systems for water heating, energy efficiency through investments in building insulation, batteries for PV solar systems, as well as frequency converters to improve the efficiency of devices already used by manufacturers.

The Clean Energy Grant Scheme will offer up to 20,000 euros for a single measure and up to 25,000 euros for combined measures.

Interested businesses can get informed about this public call by carefully reviewing the criteria and conditions set out in the guidelines.
