Citizens of the Presevo Valley cannot move freely. For many years now, they have moved to Kosovo, but they do not even have a residence permit. They have trouble to obtain such a document, while they have little hope for Kosovo citizenship. They say the lack of documentation is making their lives difficult. On the other hand, there are over 6 thousand addresses which have been inactivated by the Government of Serbia. The Prime Minister of Kosovo, days ago promised that these procedures will be facilitated for the citizens of the valley. Fikri Mehmeti's family had moved to Gjilan more than two decades ago.
