The Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati, and the Director for the Western Balkans of the World Bank Linda Van Gelder, after successful negotiations have signed the financing agreement "Kosovo Emergency Project for COVID-19 - Additional Financing".

In a press release, the Ministry of Finance, Labor and Transfers announced that "The main purpose of the agreement remains the continuation of the response to the pandemic through funding to enable the prevention, detection and response to COVID-19, as well as to build the necessary capacity in national public health systems. This agreement has a total value of 15 million euros and comes as a continuation of the Basic Agreement, signed on June 29, 2020, with the World Bank, which had already provided 46 million euros for emergency management and response to the pandemic.
