The agreement between Kosovo and Serbia on Tuesday in Brussels regarding the text of the declaration of missing persons is being welcomed by the opposition and those familiar with the dialogue process. According to them, there cannot be a process of reconciliation and peace between Kosovo and Serbia, as long as the open issues from the past are not closed. The agreement between the chief negotiator of Kosovo for dialogue, Besnik Bislimi and the Serbian one, Petar Petkovic, is expected to pave the way for the signing of the declaration from the high level in the dialogue, while it is considered that this positive momentum is expected to reflect in the full implementation of the basic agreement.

The MP of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Rrezarta Krasniqi, tells KosovaPress that in addition to the agreement on the missing, the energy agreement must also be implemented. She added that the government should stand behind its commitments for the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority.
