The Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEC) and the American company General Electric (GE) on Friday signed an agreement for the modernization of the steam turbines of the "Kosova B" Thermal Power Plant.

The agreement was also regarded as important by the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, who said that the modernization of this power plant was necessary.

Kurti emphasized that today's signing marks a decisive event for one of the main energy pillars of Kosovo, KEC.
