Thaci vows to advance the Kosovo Judicial Council’s policies

The Chair of the Kosovo Judicial Council (KJC), Rrustem Thaci, has pledged an independent, impartial, and transparent judiciary with integrity.

Thaci was elected to this position today with a total of 6 votes.

“I pledge that we will be open to cooperation, first of all to address all challenges and to move the Council’s policies forward, for an independent, impartial judiciary with integrity and transparency,” he said.

At today’s meeting, the Kosovo Judicial Council also appointed Vjollca Cenaj as Administrator of the Supreme Court, with a 4-year mandate with the right to extension, while Afrim Shala was appointed Commissioner for wiretapping.
