A year with the Covid-19 pandemic and this still unknown disease did not only affect the health of citizens. The country's economy shrank by about 7 percent, tens of thousands of jobs were lost, and many businesses were closed. However, state support is being considered as low and inappropriate.

The chambers of commerce consider that the economic damage caused by the pandemic is great, and the Kosovo Agency of Statistics, say that the number of those who lost their jobs at this time is about 40 thousand.
