The head of the parliamentary group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Besnik Tahiri, said that the 2026 budget does not reflect the promises made by Prime Minister Albin Kurti in his speech on February 11.

During the Assembly session, while criticizing the budget, he stated that it also has shortcomings in capital investments, where 81 percent of them are projects from previous years.

“We are talking about a budget that does not reflect any of what the Prime Minister promised here in his speech. The second political issue is related to capital investments. If you look closely at the budget, we are talking about 81 percent of capital investments being ongoing projects, not new initiatives,” he said.
