Acting Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, responded after the Kosova Police discovered two shoulder-fired rocket launchers known as “zolla”, produced in Serbia, in North Mitrovica.

Sveçla, in a Facebook post, said that Belgrade has never distanced itself from such activities, adding that the encouragement comes precisely from Serbia, reports KosovaPress.

“On the other hand, Belgrade has not only never distanced itself from these weapons and actions in the northern part of the country but, on the contrary, for years has stimulated, organized, and supplied terrorist groups and criminal gangs, with the sole aim of undermining the territorial integrity and constitutional order of the Republic of Kosovo”, his post reads.

Furthermore, Sveçla stated that Kosovo’s authorities are determined to dismantle every criminal presence in the country. “However, we are determined to systematically and without any doubt dismantle every criminal presence or terrorist potential in our country. Every day, we are restoring order in that part of the territory and, along with it, bringing investments and development for all citizens, without distinction,” he concluded. /KosovaPress/
