The Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, has said that the Serbian List is against holding elections in the north of the country because it has lost support of the Serbian community there. He said that Kosovo does not dare to be blackmailed by those who, according to him, feel threatened by the rule of law. While reporting to the Committee on European Integration, Sveçla said that there is no reason not to hold the April 23 elections.

The Minister of Internal Affairs has also stated that the Kosova Police and the entire Ministry of Internal Affairs are at the disposal of the CEC so that the extraordinary municipal elections in the four municipalities in the north can continue and end successfully...
