The Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, at an electoral rally in the Municipality of Vushtrri, has criticized the opposition parties in Kosovo.

In front of Vetëvendosje supporters, Sveçla has called several exponents of the opposition parties "trash", because according to him, they have compared the Kosovo Police to the murderous police of the Balkan criminal, Slobodan Milosevic.

He also said that on February 9, the "outdated" parties will be sent into permanent retirement.

Sveçla: Should we throw them in the trash can of our nation's history

"On February 9, we must send the outdated parties, their leadership, into permanent retirement. Some old party trash said that the Kosovo Police is behaving like Milosevic's police in the north, like Milosevic's police who killed 1,300 of our children, a total of 13,000 Albanians, raped 20,000 of our women and burned 120,000 of our houses. I have a question for you, are we going to throw these trash into the trash can of our nation's history?" said Sveçla.
