Suspect taken to police for influencing citizens’ votes

The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Prishtina announced that it has received an anonymous report regarding suspicions that a person, M.S., influenced citizens to vote and also requested medical reports from certain individuals in order to assist them during the voting process.

According to the statement, the suspected person was taken to the police station in the Municipality of Gračanica, where all necessary measures and investigative actions are being taken in accordance with legal procedures.

"Meanwhile, during the initial inspection, nothing suspicious was found, and the individual was interviewed by the competent authorities," the statement said.

The Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Prishtina, in coordination with the Kosovo Police, remains committed to maintaining order and legality, as well as ensuring a free and democratic electoral process.
