Supervision of doctors; inspections for compliance with working hours have become more frequent

The Health Inspectorate has intensified inspections in the UCCK Clinics, general hospitals and primary services to see how health professionals are respecting their working hours, with an emphasis on those who work in the private sector as well. From these inspections, some doctors of the Clinic of Urology, Abdominal Surgery and ENT were not found at the workplace during the working hours.

This is what the acting Chief Health Inspector, Shaban Osmanaj, told KosovaPress that so far, 36 clinics have been inspected for the presence of health professionals at work.

He even says that this action of inspections is continuing, while for all those who were not found at the workplace, measures will be taken in accordance with the law...
