‘Superheroes’ bring smiles to children at the Pediatric Clinic
The children who are being treated at the
Pediatric Clinic of the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCCK) were
surprised with some gifts from the climbers of the "Alpin Prishtina"
Club - KAP.
KAP together with "Care for Kosovo
Kids" organized the "Superheroes" event, where they climbed with
ropes through the balconies and windows of Pediatric Clinic, distributing gifts
to patients.
This activity, which has been organized for
four years now, aims to raise funds for the healing of children who have been
diagnosed with cancer.
The manager for activities in "Care for
Kosovo Kids", Mrika Karaçi, said that this activity aims to raise funds
and awareness for children with cancer who are in the Pediatric Hemato-oncology
Clinic at UCCK.
Meanwhile, the executive director of the
Economic Bank of Kosovo, Shpend Luzha, said that the children's smile is a
motivation to support such activities.
He added that they
were pleased to have given the donation and gifts to this clinic.
Meanwhile, the director of HUCSK, Elvir Azizi,
said that the essential list for the treatment of children has increased.
Regarding this activity, Azizi said that they
are welcome, since according to him, in addition to health treatment, the
children also need spiritual treatment.
