The University “Haxhi Zeka” in Peja, has five faculties, including the Faculty of Business, the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Agribusiness, and the Faculty of Music. Studies at the Faculty of Business and the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management are conducted in Albanian and Bosnian/Serbian language. The faculty professors are from Kosovo and the region.

Husnija Bibuljica, coordinator of Bosnian language teaching at the university level, says there are students from all communities in Kosovo, as well as the region, such as Montenegro, Serbia and Bosnia. "We have students from Montenegro, specifically from Rozhaja, Berana, Andrijevica, they are specifically Montenegrin students in both university and master studies of the Faculty of Business. When it comes to the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality, there were students specifically from Prizren, and there are two Serbian students attending the studies", said Bibuljica. Baki Koleci, a longtime professor of management at this university, says the students are good and come from all communities. "In our university there is a special rule compared to other universities, here together we are not only Albanians, but we are Bosniaks, there are Serbs, there are Roma, Ashkali, there are all communities living in Kosovo. Indeed, even with the previous management, but also with the current management, there is a very good situation for all the citizens of Kosovo who want to study here", said Professor Koleci. "Haxhi Zeka" University in Peja has undergone a major change in recent years and new facilities have been built for better conditions for study and development of teaching. "The facilities have been renovated, investments have been made, cabinets have remained, we are currently in one of those cabinets, there have been many larger halls when it comes to exercises. However, it is necessary to have an amphitheater, at least one of which was on the campus where the rectorate is located", said professor Bibuljica. He added that the University is also equipped with a library that has books in several languages. "There are good conditions, we are trying to improve conditions from year to year, to be more standard. Our students also have a library here. The library is equipped with books in Bosnian, Albanian and English language", said Professor Husnija Bibuljica. Professor Koleci praised the conditions offered by the University "Haxhi Zeka" in Peja and said that the academic body tries to stay close to students. "The professor is with the student at any time, at any moment, they have the opportunity to call us on the phone, write to us wherever we are, in order to help them. Those previous times have changed, when the student had a distance with the professor, but today at the University 'Haxhi Zeka' it is a very big feature compared to other universities as I have had access to different universities and colleges, it is a very good connection between students and professors", said Koleci. The University “Haxhi Zeka” in Peja was accredited last year based on reports by international experts, and the decision was taken by the State Quality Council.
