For some time now, it has been proposed to
change the name of the University "Hasan Prishtina" by the rector of
the University of Prishtina due to some statutory changes. The students are
opposing this, as they consider that changing the name of the university is
unfair. They expect such an initiative to fail, and that the name of Hasan Prishtina
will forever be the one that identifies the UP.
With the request that the name of Hasan Prishtina not be removed from the University of Prishtina, the students of UP have organized a petition "Don't touch Hasan Prishtina" a month ago, which has collected about 3,000 signatures...
