The security and emergency teams, as well as the firefighters, intervened last night in several cases in the neighborhoods of Prishtina, which were the result of strong winds. However, today when dangers due to the winds have been warned, the isolation of the new municipality building in "Arbëri" has been done once again, in order to avoid any danger both for citizens and material things.

The municipality of Prishtina has warned the citizens that today there will be strong winds from 20 to 80 km/h, which will also cause material damage.

The Director of the Directorate for Security and Emergency in the Municipality of Prishtina, Lulëzim Fushtica, tells KosovaPress that all teams of the Directorate for Emergency and Firefighters are in a state of readiness for any case that may occur in the city due to strong winds.

Fushtica says that last night the emergency teams were on the ground, after the citizens reported some damage in some neighborhoods of Prishtina.

On January 18, due to strong winds, the roof of the building of the new Municipality collapsed, where a 23-year-old woman was seriously injured as a result. She was treated in intensive care, which has been in a coma, but fortunately, her condition is starting to improve.

In any case of danger, report to the Emergency Center of the Capital at the following numbers: 0800 112 33 or 0800 112 44./ A.Shala/
