On the 18th anniversary of Kosovo’s declaration of independence, state leaders paid tribute at the memorial complex in Prekaz to honor the family of legendary commander Adem Jashari.

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, the Speaker of the Assembly, Albulena Haxhiu, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the government cabinet today paid tribute at the Jashari family graves, who fell for the freedom of the country, KosovaPress reports.

Before the tribute in Prekaz, the state leaders also paid homage at the graves of former President Ibrahim Rugova, national activist Adem Demaçi, and the memorial complex for the missing.
