In an interview for KosovaPress, Krasniqi spoke about sporting achievements, organizing international events, the importance of improving infrastructure, and the role of sport in promoting Kosovo’s image.
The head of the KOC also spoke about the ambitions of the Kosovo Olympic Committee in organizing major sports events. He stated that the main goal is to host as many European and international events as possible, seeing this as a way to strengthen Kosovo’s position in world sports.
Krasniqi called for a dedicated state strategy for organizing major sports events, stressing that sport serves as one of the most powerful tools to showcase Kosovo internationally.Krasniqi also highlighted that 2026 must be decisive for starting construction and improving sports infrastructure for the Mediterranean Games, as time until 2030 is limited.
Krasniqi underlined that investment in sport is investment in health, education, and youth, adding that sport remains Kosovo’s best ambassador and the most powerful way to build a positive international image.
