The Serbian official, Igor Popovic, is accused of deliberately and intentionally inciting and publicly spreading hatred and intolerance between ethnic groups, reports KosovaPress.
"According to the indictment, I.P. delivered a public speech addressing a large group of citizens, during which he used inflammatory and hateful language, stating: '…Serbs have suffered here in the Rahovec region, Metohija, Kosovo and Metohija, because they are natives and have roots here and will not allow anyone to label them as occupiers, newcomers, or to expel them from here, by the KLA – a terrorist organization,' and then went on to call upon citizens by declaring: 'We must be proud of the bravery of the victims and the remaining brothers here and strive for Hoça e Madhe and Rahovec to remain Serbian…’" the statement reads.
