A Kosovo Albanian woman living and working in Switzerland has organized humanitarian aid to be distributed to 25 families in the “2 Korriku” neighborhood of South Mitrovica, following flooding caused by heavy rainfall.

The assistance includes basic necessities for everyday needs and aims to ease the situation of families in need, KosovaPress reports.

This initiative comes as a sign of solidarity and support from the Albanian diaspora for families who were forced to leave their homes after they were flooded as a result of heavy rain.
