The initial hearing session in the case where former KEK director Nagip Krasniqi, former chief prosecutor Ymer Dragusha and lawyer Isuf Zejna are being accused has been postponed to February 7.

The pre-trial judge, Rrahman Beqiri, postponed the session because the evidence that Dragusha has received the subpoena has not been returned.

He stated that the next session will start at 9:30, while adding that for the presence of the defendant Ymer Dragusha, the court is considering all possible actions, including issuing an arrest warrant.

We recall that on December 30, 2023, the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo announced that it has filed an indictment in the well-known “KEK” case.

In this case, the accused are the former CEO of KEK Nagip Krasniqi, the former head of procurement at KEK, Ymer Dragusha, and lawyer Isuf Zejna.

“The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo has filed an indictment at the Basic Court in Pristina, Special Department, in the case known as ‘KEK’ against the defendants N.K., Y.D., I.Z.”, the announcement states.
