While the counting of votes for candidates for MPs and the verification of votes of political parties continues today in three municipalities of Kosovo, Pristina, Peja and Leposavic, experts in electoral processes consider that the beginning of March is expected to find us with certified results of the February 9 elections.
University professor of legal affairs, Mazllum Baraliu says that there is no deadline for when the Central Election Commission must certify the results.
But, he adds that this also depends on the counting, recounting and complaints of the candidates.
Vullnet Bugaqku from the Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI) believes that the Central Election Commission is expected to certify the results of the general elections by the beginning of March.
And if it weren't for the technical problems with the system, he says that the CEC could have certified these results even earlier.
