Serious accident in Zajm, Klina – two people lose their lives

Two people lost their lives as a result of a traffic accident that occurred in the early hours of Tuesday on the Peja–Prishtina highway, specifically in the village of Zajm, as reported by KosovaPress.

Two other people were injured in the accident and received medical treatment at the Peja Hospital.

The Kosovo Police announced that the death of the two victims was confirmed by the medical team.

The accident involved a truck, a van, and a car with local license plates.

“We inform you that on September 23, 2025, around 05:00, the Police were notified of a traffic accident that occurred on the Peja–Prishtina highway, in the village of Zajm. At the scene, the competent units of the Regional Road Traffic Unit, emergency services, and the firefighting unit responded. In this accident, a truck, a van, and a car with local license plates were involved. As a result of the accident, two people lost their lives at the scene, as confirmed by the medical team, while two injured persons were transported by ambulance to the regional hospital in Peja for medical treatment,” reads the Kosovo Police announcement.

According to the Kosovo Police, by order of the State Prosecutor, who was also present at the scene, the bodies of the victims were sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Prishtina for autopsy. /KosovaPress/
