Political analyst Branimir Krstic has ironically answered KosovaPress's question, what distinguishes northern Serbs from the world to being the only ones who do not pay for the electricity they spend. "Since Serbs are a heavenly people, the electricity comes to them from God," said Krstic. According to him, it is not only Serbs in the north who do not pay for the consumed electricity, but also Albanians, who, as he said, make up 15 percent of the population in the north. He added that until recently there were donations, especially from the Nordic countries for electricity in the north, but with the arrival of the new government in power, these donations have been cut off and unfortunately the citizens of Kosovo, excluding the northern part, feel robbed and unequal in relationship with the citizens of the north.
