The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, during the entrance to the Summit for Ukraine, which is being held in Tirana, was asked if they will impose sanctions on Russia. He said that he will adhere to the principles approved by the National Security Council of the Republic of Serbia, which means that they will not impose sanctions.

"In front of us are serious topics and messages, and for us, very important and not always easy topics, so of course things are not as simple as they sometimes seem. If I'm going to meet the Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic and what I'm going to talk about, I'm definitely not going to talk about the quality of the ‘smoki’ and ‘chocolate cream banana’ produced by Soko Stark", he said.

He said that they have made a proposal for a joint statement at the summit.

"We have several proposals for a statement, time has lasted all night, we will see, but the only thing I can say is that I will adhere to the principles approved by the National Security Council of the Republic of Serbia", he said.
