"Scorching" weather today, with temperatures reaching up to 40 degrees Celsius
Today, our country will experience mostly sunny weather with few clouds.
The Hydrometeorological Institute of Kosovo (HMIK) reports that minimum temperatures will range between 16–20°C, while maximum temperatures are expected to reach between 36–40°C.
Clouds are expected to thicken throughout the day, and in some areas, scattered rain showers accompanied by local storms may occur.
According to HMIK, the northwestern regions are expected to be most affected, where storm-like winds are also forecast. After these showers, the weather will cool down, and next week’s temperatures are expected to return to average values for this period compared to previous years.
Winds will mainly come from the northwest direction, blowing at speeds of 1 to 11 m/s, KHMI announced.
