RTK workers demand justice today in front of the Assembly
The Independent Union of RTK and the Trade Union Association of Radio Kosovo have announced a protest by the workers of Radio Television of Kosovo (RTK), which will be held today at 11:00 AM in front of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.
The protest is organized as a response to the lack of action by the responsible institutions regarding the transfer of the second part of RTK’s 2025 budget, despite it being a legal obligation for execution.
According to the unions, delays in the transfer of budgetary funds have created a severe financial situation for RTK employees, seriously jeopardizing their well-being and the normal functioning of the public broadcaster.
In their statement, the Independent Union of RTK and the Trade Union Association of Radio Kosovo call on all employees of the institution, media representatives, and citizens who believe in the right to independent information to join and support this peaceful protest.
