The Union of Workers of Radio Television of Kosovo (SPERTK) protested on Thursday in front of the entrance of the Public Radio Television (RTK) due to delays in the payment of employees’ salaries.

The representative of the public broadcaster’s union, Gëzim Bimbashi, stated that they are not protesting for luxury or “for a raise in salaries,” but for a fundamental right.

Meanwhile, Naile Dema-Selmani from the Kosovo Journalists’ Association called on the acting Prime Minister to urgently allocate the salaries of RTK employees.
