Avdyl Begaj, 39, from the village of Banjë in Malisheva, has been found dead. He had been reported missing since January 18 of this year.

Ridvan Tahiri, a volunteer with the Search and Rescue Association, stated that the 39-year-old was found lifeless in a field near the village of Siqevë on Tuesday morning.

The case was confirmed for KosovaPress by the spokesperson of the Peja Regional Police, Fadil Gashi.

He stated that, in addition to the competent police units, the on-duty doctor was also present at the scene and confirmed the victim’s death.

“Around 10:00 a.m. today, a local resident from the village of Siqevë, in the municipality of Klinë, notified the police that he had come across a body lying in the fields of the village, which he suspected was lifeless. The police immediately responded to the scene. The on-duty doctor also arrived and confirmed the victim’s death. All competent police units are at the scene, and intensive work is underway to determine the circumstances and clarify the case,” Gashi said.
