With an Albanian fighting spirit, German discipline and a Dutch technique, Diant Ramaj has managed to become the first goalkeeper of the soccer giant, Ajax.

In an interview with the Dutch medium "ad.nl", Ramaj touched on many topics, including the invitation from the Kosovo and Albania national teams, reports KosovaPress.

The goalkeeper, whose parents are from Gjakova, has the luxury of choosing three national teams. He has put invitations from Kosovo and Albania on hold, as he is hoping to receive an invitation from "Die Mannschaft", i.e. from Germany.

"I have to make a decision, but I don't want to rush," said Ramaj, who has already played for Germany's youth teams.

Ramaj also said that he visits Kosovo every year, and that he is very close to Gjakova.

Asked how he ended up as a young goalkeeper at VfB Stuttgart, Ramaj said that he was initially rejected by this team as a striker.

Further, Ramaj said that the mentality he has is a mixture of the Albanian spirit and German discipline.

Diant Ramaj this season has managed to make 17 appearances in all competitions with Ajax, keeping four clean sheets and conceding 26 goals.
