The Mayor of Prishtina, Perparim Rama, together with other representatives of the municipality, paid homage at the statue of Zahir Pajaziti in Prishtina, where he said that the past and the martyrs who gave their lives for freedom should be respected. He added that without genuine respect for them, we will not have a good future. "We should respect our past, respect the life given by the martyrs for the freedom we enjoy today. We must know that without having a real respect for the soldiers, for all those who have sacrificed their lives, who have given their children, given their lives for freedom, we do not have a good future, so here we are today to show our respect, we also visited the cemetery of martyrs. We will do the projects that the martyrs deserve, in this way we aim for a good of our society and a good future for our country by showing respect for those who have given their life for freedom," he said.
