Citizens of the Pristina region may soon pay their waste bills at an increased price. Currently, the billing for waste removal is a fixed fee of 4.7 euros. From the Regional Waste Company "Pastrimi" they say that operating costs have increased significantly, therefore increasing the price of this service is necessary. Also, they say that the salaries of the workers can be reviewed. Against this proposal are the citizens who say that their lives have become too difficult.

The spokeswoman for "Pastrimi", Arbnore Ademi, said for KosovaPress that they are a self-financing company, therefore they need to raise prices to cover expenses.
