Raids and arrests in Peja, Klina and Istog
The State Prosecutor's Office together with the Special Department of the Kosovo Police for the Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption, are conducting police actions in the municipalities of Peja, Istog and Klina. The action is aimed at arresting some public officials, suspected of abuse of office. KosovaPress has tried to get additional information from the Prosecution in Peja, but they have said that the action is continuing and did not provide details until its completion.
As KosovaPress learns, a Construction Inspector has been arrested so far in the municipality of Peja, but there are other arrests.Djellza Berisha, the chief of staff of the mayor of Peja, did not want to talk about this arrest either, on the grounds that they have no information.
