Residents of the village of Bellanica and the surrounding villages of Malisheva have today organized a peaceful protest in front of the Specialist Prosecutor's Office to demand justice regarding the issue of privatization of properties in Dubrava and OPB "Mirusha".

The chairman of the Council for the return of properties in Dubrava, Hazir Hoxha, told KosovaPress that this problem has been going on for 13 years. He revealed the names of the persons who, according to him, took their private properties without permission.

The resident of the village of Bellanica, Halil Hoxha, added that no one is listening to their complaints, and they also call them "usurpers". He indicated that they will not stop until they get their property back.

The motto of the protest of the residents of Bellanica was "In no way will we allow our children to be hired by crime bosses in their properties. We don't need mercy. We only want justice!"

The residents of Bellanica have a problem with the lands that are claimed to have once belonged to them. It is about 375 hectares of land. These properties belong to the social enterprise "Mirusha" and the residents say that in 1958 the then government took them by force. The genesis of all this originates from 1958, to continue for decades.
