The Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren continued on Thursday its operation against suspects in connection with vote manipulation.

The Prosecution announced that, in cooperation with the Kosovo Police and following the receipt of public information related to the vote recount process at the Municipal Counting Center in Prizren, it is continuing expanded investigations concerning a second group of suspects in Prizren.

The Prosecution stated that the suspicions relate to the commission of criminal offenses предусмотрed under Chapter XVIII of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo, which concern violations of voting rights, as well as under Chapter XXXIII, which covers official corruption and criminal offenses against official duty, reports KosovaPress.

Taking into account the high level of media interest, the Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren announced that later today, after the suspects are interviewed by the police, an additional statement will be issued with information on further investigative actions and developments.
