Prishtina is declared "European City of Sport", KOC: This is another achievement of our sport
Today in the European Parliament, Prishtina
received the epithet as "European City of Sport".
The news was confirmed by the mayor of Prishtina,
Përparim Rama, who participated in this ceremony together with the skier, Kiana
Kryeziu and the sports director, Granit Rugova, KosovaPress reports.
On this occasion, the Kosovo Olympic Committee (KOC) has now reacted, which, among other things, described this as another achievement for our sport.
"This is another achievement of our sport, especially of Prishtina, a success in which the Kosovo Olympic Committee also contributed. KOC congratulates the leaders of the municipality, with the mayor Përparim Rama, and at the same time we express our readiness for cooperation in the further advancement of sports in the capital and beyond", reads the KOC communique.
