The list includes internationally recognized sports, covering both traditional Olympic disciplines and several new additions to the Games.

The sports included are: athletics, boxing, judo, karate, weightlifting, wrestling, swimming, water polo, sailing, rowing, shooting, table tennis, tennis, volleyball, handball, basketball 3×3, fencing, cycling (road and mountain bike), gymnastics (artistic and rhythmic), badminton, karate, taekwondo, weightlifting disciplines, as well as other sports such as futsal, which has been officially included and will replace traditional U21 football in this edition.

In addition to the core sports, the Organizing Committee has reserved the possibility of adding 2–3 additional sports, such as Baseball5, Canoe Sprint, Kickboxing, or skating sports, depending on proposals that may be approved at a later stage.

This multidimensional program represents one of the broadest sporting offerings in the history of the Mediterranean Games and advances the organizers’ vision of an inclusive and dynamic sporting event.
