The Kosovo Police, in coordination and cooperation with other relevant units of the Kosovo Police and justice institutions, today carried out the extradition of a Kosovo citizen from Switzerland to the Republic of Kosovo, reports KosovaPress.
The suspect had been arrested by Swiss authorities after he was wanted under an international arrest warrant issued by the justice institutions of Kosovo for the criminal offense of threats.
The extradition was carried out thanks to cooperation between institutions of the two countries. After the extradition, the suspect was handed over to the relevant police units in the Prizren region for the continuation of further legal proceedings.
