The Secretary of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Vlora Çitaku, has called on all citizens of Kosovo to go out and vote in the second round of local elections, KosovaPress reports.

At a press conference, she said that the election process in the runoff has generally gone well so far, except for issues regarding voting for persons with disabilities.

In addition, Çitaku addressed the political parties, responding to a question about the stance of the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, in some municipalities where the runoff is taking place.

“I call on all political actors to show maturity and responsibility today by not contributing to tensions… It is very important that there is no abuse of power,” she said.
