In addition to the increase in the number of positive cases with COVID-19, the number of active cases with this virus has also increased. Currently in Kosovo there are 7 thousand 266 active cases of COVID-19, from 5,678 as they were yesterday. According to the latest data from the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK), in Prishtina alone there are 3 thousand 214 active cases of COVID-19, thus being the municipality with the most active cases. Mitrovica has 611 active cases with COVID-19, while Peja currently has 372 active cases with this virus. NIPHK on Wednesday announced 2 thousand 50 new cases. Due to this high number of cases, the inter-ministerial committee will meet today to discuss the new antiCOVID-19 measures.
