Over 3,000 registered drugs, whith over 800 unprotected international brands
3767 drugs registered, 858 with unprotected international brands, while imports usually 1500-2000 of them. This was said by the Kosovo Chamber of Pharmacist (KCP) today at the discussion table on the topic "Legislation in the pharmaceutical sector - Access to medicines for patients".
Arsim Berisha, Deputy Minister of Health,
said that in the framework of the 2022 legislative plan, the Ministry of Health
has been focused on supplementing and amending the law on medical devices,
drafting the law on the regulation of drug prices and issuing by-laws such as
is the administrative instruction for registration of multivitamins.
He said that this law should be approved as
soon as possible during the public discussion, while adding that the same
applies to the draft law on regulating the price of medicines.
