Over 28 thousand 800 active cases with COVID-19
The number of active cases with COVID-19 remains high. There are currently 28,823 active cases of coronavirus in the country. The highest number of cases is in the municipality of Prishtina, with 5 thousand 549 active cases, followed by Peja with 1 thousand 968 cases, Gjilan 1 thousand 578, Prizren, 1 thousand 394, Ferizaj 1 368 thousand, Lipjan with 1 thousand 185, Fushë Kosovë 1 thousand 128, Gjakova with 1 thousand 88, Mitrovica 944 active cases and hundreds of active cases in other municipalities.
According to the latest report of the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK), 8 citizens have lost their lives due to infection with COVID-19,wheras 754 other citizens have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
