Osmani travels to Albania to represent Kosovo at the Brdo-Brijuni Regional Leaders’ Summit

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has traveled to Albania to take part in the Summit of Regional Leaders in Durrës, within the framework of the Brdo-Brijuni Initiative.

The Brdo-Brijuni Summit is organized by the Presidents of Slovenia and Croatia, Nataša Pirc Musar and Zoran Milanović, and will be chaired by the President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, as the host of the meeting in Durrës.

“With the theme: ‘Shared Interests, Joint Commitment for a Common Future: Together Towards the EU’, this year’s meeting will focus on the European perspective of the Western Balkan countries and on strengthening regional cooperation, with a particular emphasis on the Regional Growth Plan proposed by the European Union,” the Presidency of Kosovo announced.

The Brdo-Brijuni Initiative aims to promote regional cooperation and facilitate the efforts of the countries of the region on their path toward European Union membership.
