Osmani: The Reçak massacre, evidence of Serbia’s exterminationist intent toward Albanians
The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, from the Memorial Complex in Reçak, today commemorated the massacre of 45 victims, emphasizing that this crime was living proof of Serbia’s intent to eradicate the Albanian people from the face of the earth.
After paying homage, Osmani stressed that the pain of the Reçak massacre remains fresh even after 27 years, while Serbia has still not been punished for this and other crimes committed in Kosovo. She added that the same policies and mindset continue to this day, including the denial of the Reçak massacre.
The President added that the foundations of the state of Kosovo are strong thanks to the sacrifice of the martyrs and fallen heroes of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA).
