During her official visit to Hungary, President Vjosa Osmani addressed the students and professors of Eötvös Loránd University.
On this occasion, she spoke about the strategic priorities of the Republic of Kosovo’s foreign policy, including relations between Kosovo and Hungary, reports KosovaPress.
At one of Central Europe’s most prestigious universities, President Osmani spoke about the role of education as a bridge between nations and as a foundation for long-term cooperation.
She expressed gratitude for the support that students from Kosovo have received over the years from Eötvös Loránd University and Hungarian institutions.“In the fifteenth century, Albanians and Hungarians stood side by side in defense of European civilization. It was an alliance grounded in spiritual values, built on shared principles such as freedom, identity, and dignity. Today, in a changing Europe, this inspiring legacy guides us to build partnerships that reflect our shared vision for a peaceful and united future.”
Osmani also emphasized that the relationship between Kosovo and Hungary has great potential to deepen in areas such as renewable energy, tourism, technology, and education, stressing that sustainable progress is built on investment in youth and in creating bridges of intercultural understanding.
