She expressed gratitude for the support that students from Kosovo have received over the years from Eötvös Loránd University and Hungarian institutions.

Highlighting the historical dimension of Albanian-Hungarian relations, the president recalled the contributions of two emblematic figures – Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg and Janos Hunyadi.

“In the fifteenth century, Albanians and Hungarians stood side by side in defense of European civilization. It was an alliance grounded in spiritual values, built on shared principles such as freedom, identity, and dignity. Today, in a changing Europe, this inspiring legacy guides us to build partnerships that reflect our shared vision for a peaceful and united future.”

Osmani also emphasized that the relationship between Kosovo and Hungary has great potential to deepen in areas such as renewable energy, tourism, technology, and education, stressing that sustainable progress is built on investment in youth and in creating bridges of intercultural understanding.
