The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today in a meeting the European Union Special Representative for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, Peter Sorensen.

The Presidency announced that in this meeting Osmani emphasized the importance of removing unjust measures against Kosovo, KosovaPress reports

"Within the framework of the discussion, the process of constituting the Assembly and other institutions was also addressed, as well as the importance of these institutions functioning democratically to advance common objectives. The President also addressed the issue of arbitrary arrests of Kosovo citizens by Serbia, requesting the engagement of the international community so that Serbia stops these illegal actions against Kosovo citizens," reads the announcement.

Regarding the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Osmani said that this process should be fair and impartial, by defining clear objectives, which would also contribute to advancing peace, stability and the European perspective of the region as a whole.

Osmani underlined the importance of Kosovo's integration into international organizations, with particular emphasis on the Council of Europe, as well as other important organizations. /KosovaPress.
