The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, regarding the decision on illegal license plates, has stated that Kosovo is a state of the rule of law and the influence of criminal gangs that threaten Serbian citizens every time they want to use legal license plates must be put to an end, bevcause hey are threatened with burning of houses, burning of cars, etc.

Osmani made these comments during the meeting with the President of Malta, George Vella. According to her, the license plate issue is above all a rule of law issue because over 90 percent of Serbs living in Kosovo have already converted the old license plates into legal license plates.

So, they respected the law and at the same time contributed to the rule of law and the treatment of everyone equally before the law.
